I like to think that it's all part of the process--laundry time, pick up time, yardwork time, shower time. I envision my brain working in the background at all times, so when I finally do focus, I'm more ready.

Definitely, Tim. I imagine the same thing! Our brains are always chewing on things even when we haven’t turned our full(er) attention to them. Some of my best “writing” happens when I’m driving or washing my hair….

Yes! It’s not just words on page. Eventually it has to be, but it’s more fluid than that.

Hey sister, I know that dishwasher half emptied-email returning-walking upstairs to fetch something person. Thanks for the reminder of how to use our time. So adios and see ya later, I’m off to write. I mean it

My best writing time is morning— and for months it has been inspired by your book, Dear Writer. I read a few pages and often find a way to my words. Thank you for the clarity and the sauciness of your writing. That alone inspires.

This pep talk landed on the right day and most importantly, the right time. Thank you. Tomorrow is a new day when I wake up and try again... at a new time.
