When I was dreaming up this newsletter, I knew I wanted to build in some one-on-one conversations about writing (or whatever else you want to talk about). I also knew that parts of For Dear Life would always be free and accessible to all, because that’s important to me, but some things would live behind a paywall, because, well, writing is work—not, ahem, “work.” Writing is how I keep the lights on, the wi-fi humming, and the kids in shoes that fit them.

Their feet won’t stop growing. Seriously.

So, paid subscribers can submit questions in the comments, and I’ll respond to as many as possible in future posts. Need some advice or have a craft-related question? I’m here for it. Want a book or music rec? Don’t be shy.
