I’ve loved reading the last round of questions submitted during Q&A. This week I’m answering a few more. The craft questions this time around were terrific, as were the questions about navigating the writing life.

I’m excited to share some upcoming posts with you, including a special interview with poet Catherine Pierce, who has been my first reader for 23 years. She’s seen so many terrible first drafts of mine, and again and again she’s helped me close the gap between the draft I have and the poem it might someday be. What a gift.
