We all have pieces of writing that are stubborn. Pieces that, for whatever reason, just don’t gel. Pieces that you might need to set aside, come back to, then set aside again. The most frustrating thing about revision is when you don’t know what a piece needs. You know it can be improved, but you aren’t sure how.
