The Power of a Date
Hi, Friend.
Recently I shared the early drafts of my poem “December 18, 2008” from Goldenrod. This poem uses as its title my daughter Violet’s birthday.
I started thinking about the power of providing a date as a jumping-off point, a frame of reference, for a piece of writing.
