That poem blows my head off every time.

And speaking of the UofA, it’s high time the poetry center invites you back —for a reading this time!!

Safe travels, my friend xo

It’s been 6 years—I was poet-in-residence in fall 2018, when Rhett was in kindergarten! Time flies. Hope to be back that way again before too long. 💗🤞

Thank you for the suggestions… Victoria Chang’s book about Agnes the artist is an amazing read… I had to Google Agnes and research her artistry.. I found Victoria through you! It’s been like 5 yrs ago already.. 💕💕💕🦋

That poem...wow. Goosebumps.

Outside our bedroom window is a very enthusiastic male mockingbird whose vocal range and song selections are truly impressive. I'm hoping he finds his true love soon, and not just because he is distractingly loud in the wee hours.

That poem, Maggie, gosh that last line always gets me. The idea of a gentle thing that won't survive, yet you are with him at a time he is alive...he is so alive. Oh tears!!!! A reminder to be in the moment, and to soak up all we have while we have it.
